Artist Statement

My paintings and jewelry works are inclined towards an abstract style, because abstraction can directly express the artist's personality, experience and thought; it is free and individual. I am an sensible person, so I am very fond of expressing my emotions through my works. I want to be able to show myself through art, to demonstrate what I love, to demonstrate my emotions, to demonstrate everything I am. I always hope to find someone who can reach a consensus with me in art through the way I create art.

Nature is an essential part of my life because this beauty of nature can heal me when I encounter troubles. Whenever I finish my day's work, no matter how tired I am, I basically walk home because whenever I look up and see the stars in the sky, my day's exhaustion is dissipated. I can never get enough of the comforting and beautiful colors of nature.

I'm a big fan of sharing beauty with others, so whenever I see an incredibly beautiful landscape, I photographed it and sent it to my friends. I want everyone to feel this happiness. I hope that viewers can feel the infinite charm and beauty of nature in my works, and that my jewelry pieces can put the wearer in a good mood every day.

For me, although nature is very abstract, different natural elements have their unique shapes, textures and colours. I have been trying to create nature through these three characteristics with different materials and art forms (paintings and jewelry). I hope these three characteristics can maximize the natural expression of what I see and feel.

The colour blue appears very frequently in my work because I like it very much. I'm an extroverted loner who will happily interact with others, but I also have a world of my own. When I am in my own world, I stop all communication with the outside. At this time, I have an urge to paint a large area of blue without borders. It can bring me infinite peace, and it can keep me in this state forever. Sometimes I will stare at blue, then I will feel that I am blue, blue is me, we are one. That's why I love Yves Klein so much, the blue he creates is like a black hole, I can't help myself.

Nature and blue are both my lifelong loves. So I explore more deeply the connection between nature and blue, so that they can merge with each other and be shown in the next collection of jewelry - in which you will feel the most real me.
