After last week I finished a new cloud - I poured resin for the unfinished "cloud" from last week. However, I found that although the cotton was no longer affected by the resin and turned into the shape of "crushed ice" (transparent color), it became (visually) stiff because it was soaked in the resin with the white color essence, which lost the soft texture of the "clouds" I wanted.

Then I started to think if I soaked the cotton in the resin with the white color essence and then added the resin (quickly) before the cotton became stiff, then it would be possible to create the "cloud" feeling.
But eventually I found that the white color essence would disperse in the clear resin - only a small portion of the cotton still had the white color essence in it.
I then left the cotton soaked in the resin with the white coloring for 4 to 5 hours (also before the cotton became stiff) and finally achieved the effect I wanted that was closest to the texture of the "clouds" - white and soft.
I have continued to explore the patterns and effects in "Starry Night"...
Although I have produced many different types of "blue" works, I found that I did not create a "pure blue", so I experimented and explored this.
And I think "pure blue" does not need too much design and ideas - the simplest is the most stunning. So I added my favorite blue color essence to the resin, and then let the resin play with itself.
Design of the container:
The first container that was made was the "sky", and I was inspired by this image, where the combination of the sun and the clouds gave me a new perception of the shape of the "sky".

Part of 3d printing:
Sky:
This time I thickened the height of the middle section to give the material a better chance to play. This also enhances the three-dimensionality of the whole piece - creating a sense of layering between the different parts.
Secondly, I changed the stones instead of limiting them to the same size and shape.
Pure Blue:
For the "pure blue" container design I chose a very simple design, because for me both the circle and the "pure blue" bring me the feeling of "infinity/no boundaries".

It’s interesting-I wonder who decided, or how we evaluate what “pure blue” is? Did the original color theorists have arguments about this? Glad you achieved some success with your fluffy clouds. Really looking forward to seeing the play of color in your resin brooches!
Very interesting experiment! Especially the part about the cloud. But for me personally, I prefer the part of the starry night, because I think purple and blue are a very good match. Purple gives a deep feeling. I think it matches blue perfectly. And this color collocation is also a classic collocation often used in oil paintings. If you add some silver or white dots as decoration, I think it will be very beautiful!
