Each natural feature has its own characteristics (patterns), and these characteristics can also help us better identify different natural features.

Surface of the ocean:

Waves, drops, fluctuating water, sunlight shining on the water…

Use materials to express these characteristics:

Fabrics:

Resin:

Combination:

Natural materials (stones) that resemble the colour of the sea:

Shell pieces:

Deep ocean:

Coral, rocks, beams of light, holes, bubbles…

Materials:

Fabrics:

Colour Foil and burned foil:

Shell piece:

The composition of Jewelry(Brooch):

Surface of the ocean:

It is a container.

The whole composition of this container is divided into three parts by me. These three different sections represent three different materials and colours.

Left - stone; middle - fabric/shell pieces, two small holes in the middle part - solid colour.; right - mixing colours.

I will be covering these materials/colours with clear resin, except for the stones.

I used 3d printing to make this container.

Your resin samples really reflect the movement of water, I wonder if instead of layering in fabric you could simply layer different shades of blue resin

Really nice color and material research again this week- laid out beautifully on your blog. And- so happy to see that you started to plan and fabricate a piece! Did you send that out to a local company to be 3D printed? What will the material of the print be?

Yes! I have sent my files to the 3d printing company and they have already started printing them. I will be printing my containers in transparent resin.

Wow, I really like your resin pieces, they are vividly shown the fluctuation of water, it is fantastic! Looking forward to seeing your finished pieces.
